ok can you use the colored elastics on damon braces i am a cheerleader this year and i would really like to show the school colors and how much do they cost, do they hurt, how long do they take, and can they fix a bad over bite ?

Well i had Damon braces...Damon 3 (which are half procelain and half metal) If i was to do it all over again I would get all metal (there are a little bigger, however they last longer). Because the half metal half proceliane unglues from eachother, so i had to replace almost 90% over the whole treament...therefore longer times at the Ortho.
No elastics over the braces .They don't hurt ...just uncomfortable the first 2 days after a wire change (more denser wires evry appointment)...It's not like getting your wires tighten. Give a good 1-2 weeks to get use too...after those its a breezes.
Cost depends on your case..my brother, sister and mine costs varies from $5500-$6500. I have a Class 3 (or something that sound like that) which is a underbite...and elastics corrected it. The need for teeth removal is not always obligatory. Damon braces did miracles for my siblings and I. No teeth removal for any of us, and no major surgery...I'm pretty happy with the results for all of us.
