WOuld anybody Knwo what this is or what causes it, it has to do with TEETH?!

Question: I've noticed lately that my gum line on top has been getting higher and on the bottom, lower.
One tooth on top is so sensitive now because the gum went so high, the root or some nerve is exposed at times, so I can't swish anything cold and have to be careful when drinking cold drinks or it hurts like He77.
I think it was just the mouthwash(generic whitening brand I tried), but it started to make my gums string up or something.. nothing where it hurt, but I could feel it the pieces and it was just nasty I haven't used that mouthwash and that went away and my gums look better and no more "Tearing" up.

I brush 2-3 times a day, chew gum, no bad breath or anything, no bad tastes....
I'm scheduling an appointment with my dentist, but I'd like to have an idea of what this could be and how they could fix that tooth problem.... I'm wondering it has to deal with me having braces, but they got taken off when I was 17, I'm 21 now.

Thanks for any Help!

My guess would be you are brushing your gums too hard causing the gums to recede. Not the only explanation but usually the most common one. Go see the dentist for a proper diagnosis. You did the right thing by booking an appointment.

gingivitis, the precursor of tooth loss
gum disease is a problem you willl need to stay on top of
teeth loosen & eventually fall out
nothing you can do but use plenty of plax, floss daily, use a water pic & little brushed, and you may need to have the teeth scaled
ask your dentist since you are young

Alot of those teeth whitening toothpastes and mouth washes can actually do damage to your teeth and gums. I'm sure you have done no major damage. Talk to your dentist about having a mouth piece made specifically for teeth whitening. You wear these when you sleep, and it doesn't have all the nasty chemicals that are sold right over the counter.

gum recession, do you use hard brush?

It sounds like it could be some type of peridontal disease. Best to ask your dentist. Do you floss? That helps your gums stay in shape.

You may be brushing too hard... use only a soft brush, not a medium one. Your gums are receeding perhaps because of this, or because you don't floss, nor massage them. If they bleed, you may have this going on, as well as some vitamin deficiencies. They as well recede when you do not have them professionally cleaned 2 or 3 times per year.

You have to see a Dentist to really know what's causing it.

I got some stuff you could eat to fix that problem such as lemon juice & Apples it's the best natural healer of teeth gum.
If the problem persists go see a dentist
