The factors that might be causing it are.

Blood. Did you bite your tongue for some reason? or some problems in your teeth?

Drugs. Have you taken any drugs just recently? some drugs will really make your tastebuds all metallic.

Braces. Do you have a brace? well that will cause the taste if ever you haven't changed your braces for a year.

u might be pregnant? x

This could be a sign of pregnancy

Blood

It could be lead poisoning.

It's a very common sign of pregnancy - together with sore breasts and the area around your nipples darkening - if you have either or both of these too, then you might want to take a pg test!

metronidazole is one drug which causes a metallic taste in the mouth. it is available in the form of gels also. it is usaually prescribed by the dentist for the treatment of gum disease. and for stomach infections also sometimes this is the only indicated drug.
but nowadays a substitute called ornidazole is available which has the same effect without the metallic taste.

It could be from some medication you are taking succh as iron tablets, or you could be pregnant as that is one of the first signs of pregnancy
