My mom is making me get braces?
My mom is making my sister and I get braces. Anything I should know before I get them???? Do they hurt the first time you put them on???? Can I chew gum???? HELP ME !?!?!?!
Does it hurt when you get them tightened????

Yeah i have braces.
At first when you get them they will hurt for 2-3 days and you cannot eat anything hard.
Then it all gets good and you can eat everything you want except sticky stuff like gum..
one or twice in a month he will change your bracer wires and they will hurt again for 2-3 days, but then it gets all normal.
During the process he also might put an expander on top of your mouth which is really uncomfortable and annoying to eat with. But you get used to it.
He might also give you rubber bands to wear, those also hurt for 2-3 days then get all good, and make sure you change rubbber bands at least 3 times a day.
Brush your teeth alot.
