Ok i have had my braces for almost a year now and i got my braces tightened about 2 months ago and the dentist told me to wear those band things on my braces. Well.......i wore them for about 3 weeks and then completely forgot about wearing them. So i have to get my braces tightened again tomorrow and i'm afraid that the dentist is going to say "well i have to tighten your braces 2x tighter than normal cause you didn't wear your bands". Do you think they can tighten them 2x tighter than normal cause i didn't wear my bands? What should i tell them when they ask if i have been wearing the bands? Are they going to discipline me for not wearing the bands?

The won't tighten them twice as much because you did not wear the band. He honest, tell them. You have had a minor setback in progress, that's all. They cannot possibly discipline you! You are the patient: you (or your insurance ) is paying the bill. They are there to provide a service for YOU.
Go in with confidence! Admit your lack of participation and go from there..
