If you have four doctor opinions does that mean the procedure is necessary?!
Question: My six year old daughter has two teeth growing above a front baby tooth that as not come out on time. The four opinions say that the baby tooth and the second tooth need to be extracted but she has to have oral surgery as an outpatient. I am nervous about this but am reassured that it will be alright. She has special needs with ADHD is why they are putting her as an outpatient and not in a regular dentist office. I checked with the pediatrician, dentist, orthodonist, oral surgeon, and second opinion special needs needs dentist and they all say it is necessary or it could get a lot worse for her which I do not want.

I understand your nervousness - but it will be just fine, you willl get to be there when she wakes up and goes to sleep for the procedure if they put her out -- and the extra teeth can cause her a life time of trouble with over crowding and forcing the remaining teeth into different positions... not to mention, kids fall and get hurt alot, one good fall on her face and as the teeth are moving further out they can go right through her lip... please see that this is necessary and be strong for your daughter, she will pick up on your uneasiness and it will make the adhd worse... good luck
well if 4 different doctors all came to the same conclusion then it's pretty safe to say the procedure needs to be done.
