Has anyone ever had this done? does it hurt too bad?!
Question: in a few weeks i have to go into the dentist and have a baby tooth pulled
and then after they pull it, they will connect a small gold chain to the tooth and pull the one up in my gums down
my mom said they will have to put me to sleep
does anyone know the full procedure for this?
and does it hurt?

yeah i had that same thing done to me a few years ago. i had do have it done because the tooth was stuck in my gums. and yes it did hurt a lot. mostly to pull the tooth down gradually. they will cut your gums to attach the gold chain to the tooth and it will feel really gross in your mouth after all that. its disgusting. im not trying to scare you, but just so you know whats probably gonna be coming to you.....your gums will be all smooshy. it made me want to gag. but anyway, it does hurt. you just have to tough it out. sorry you have to have that done. it sucks.
I think you've misunderstood- as far as I know they don't pull th other down, but that doesn't matter. The little prick that sends you to sleep might hurt, but you just don't remember a thing after that and you don't feel a thing. I had four teeth taken out like this!
