Can I swish Betadine in my Mouth to kill bacteria?
Can I use regular ole' betadine? Do I mix it with water? How much?
Answers:
You probably don't want to do that. The Betadine might leave a heavy brown stain all over your teeth. :-P
The issue with germs in the mouth is that they stick to teeth in the form of plaque and calculus.. The best way to remove plaque is not with a rinse, but with mechanical disruption of the plaque (floss and brush with a toothpaste, which has a mild abrasive in it to help scrub off the plaque).
