Palatal expander! talking problem~!?!
Question: i just got my expander today. and it's horrible! it isn't pain but i had trouble talking with it. I need to pronounce words properly as i 'm going to have a drama performance soon in april.
will it get better? will it get normal?

You should be used to talking with it in about a week. It's amazing how the tongue and tissues adjust to these appliances. Try practicing talking slowly and pay attention to where you place your tongue when speaking. It really will get better.
Almost all patients are totally used to the expansion appliances when they come back in a month for their next appointment.
