its my front tooth, my dentist has done the filling 3 times now and it still has a black spot a few months later. he said i may need a crown, what is that and how do they do it? i'm a big baby and hate going to the dentist, i cry sometimes before he even touches me. help!!!

Then they take impressions of your teeth (have you bite into clay like substance) which goes to a lab that makes your crown. They put a temporary crown on before your permanent crown is made. Then you go back in and they numb your mouth and put the permanent crown on. They are expensive though, so be prepared.
