Some things are best left to the professionals. As such, there may be a dental/orthodontist school in your area. If not, you may have to travel some to find one. The students do dental work under the supervision of the instructors for greatly reduced fees but not free. You just have to give your time, i.e., what it takes a practicing orthodontist to do in a half hour may take a student two+ hours.

You can also check with your state's Department of Health and Human Services (or Family Services - agency name may vary slightly by state). Many of them have programs that offer free and low cost medical and dental services for residents.

sure there's a way. Go to a place where it's cheaper....South America, India, etc. you can't really "make" your own braces. sorry.

I think only dentists can make them
They need to be made and fitted professionally, which is important, otherwise (other than comfort, which perhaps may be ironic) they won't properly realign your teeth.

See if Centrelink can give you a concession or not for dental treatment/work?

Do you have private health cover with dental cover included?

Doesn't some insurance cover it?

Go to an orthodontistis for consultation...

I really don't think that you can make your own. What I would suggest (if you haven't done so already), if you can't get coverage through your own insurance, or don't have insurance, try applying for medicaid - they cover just about anything, depending on your age and income.

If this doesn't work out, try going to a local clinic, as most of them have a sliding fee for those cannot afford much medical care, and they may be able to help you out as well.

Honestly, I think that trying to fix this issue yourself may actually make it worse in the end. Good luck.

there is no way - sorry - even if you could "make" them, who is going to install and adjust them???
