Cost of Silver caps ?!

Cost of Silver caps ?
My son needs silver caps for his back teeth & I want to know if were paying too much. Our dentist is charging us 216. This is without our insurance. He is charging 315 for the front caps with the white fronts. Anyone ever get caps for their child and remember what they paid ? I would get a second opinion but I know it would cut into our insurance to pay for these caps. Any advice would be appreciated.

That sounds about normal...Every office is different and it also depends on where you live. The front teeth cost more becase it's a different material that is more expensive then the stainless steel crown that are placed on back teeth. But you do need to get them done for your child it's very important..Good Luck
