I want to pierce my tongue,but i heard it's dangerous because of infection,any suggestions?

if you take care of it there should be no problem....wich mean rincing( with listerine) after every meal, every thing you drink, every cigarette( if you smoke), no oral sex, no gums,no kissing with you tongue, and lots of others thing that you have to be told when you get your peircing.....and you need to do that for 3-4 weeks......
anyway i have mine for 7 years now and i never had problem with it.....
and the first week i could not eat anything solid only soup....and the morning after , my tongue was so swollen... like 2 inch thick. so make sure you have ice available !!!!!
