Just got out 4 wisdom teeth, BLEEDING a lot!?!

Question: So I got 4 wisdom teeth out and 1 extraction.

The spaces where the two teeth on the left of my face is fine.

But one of the spaces on the right side (also the side of extraction), is bleeding a lot.

The blood is clotting and making a wall on the right side of my inside cheek. What should I do. I already tried getting rid of the clot and it just bleeds more. When I put the gauze in, it just pulls the good clots out and makes new clots on the right side of my inside cheek.

Hang in there, I had all 4 of mine pulled out at one time.
All I can remember is a mouth full of bloody gauze.

They do bleed a lot. It seemed like it would never stop.
Follow the Dentist's instructions and be sure to call him or her if you are concerned. They should have an emergency number.

Hang in there, rest, relax, give it some time,
I'm sure you'll be fine!

You should probably call you dentist. He would have an emergency line to call.

In the meantime, take some tea bags (yuck, I know!) and put them back in there. I had the same bleeding problem when my wisdom teeth were pulled and they told me to do that. For some reason it really helped.

Good luck and CALL the emergency line!

Rinse your mouth with warm salt water (Gently) it will help to clot the hole in your gums. Call your oral surgeon or dentist to advise them of your concerns.

Go to your dentist and get some help...fast. Or do what the girl above me said...put some salt in some water and swish the salty water around in your mouth. How could I have forgotten that? Oh well...but yeah, thanks for telling me that...I have to get all my wisdom teeth extracted in about a week...lookin' forward to it 0_0

DON'T RINSE!! That's the last thing you want to do. If you ran out of gauze packing, the wet tea bag is a good idea. If the tea bag doesn't work, call your dentist or oral surgeon --
whoever took those teeth out.

You want the clot to stay there. If it keeps pulling away you will get a dry socket and that hurts worse than a toothache. Tea bag is best and prop yourself up. Dont ly flat. If that doesnt work call your dentist

Dont try to get rid of the clot, the clot is the first stage of healing and taking the clot away will cause them to bleed,

Rinse once with the hot salty water to make sure the sockets are clean,

Roll up a damp piece of gauze, towel or hankercheif and bite down on it for 20-30 mins, this must be continuous do not stop and remove every few mins to check!! Bite and apply the pressure for the whole 20-30 min,

If this doesnt stop the bleeding repeat this stage a second time.

If after two attempts at biting down on gauze for full 20-30 min it is still bleeding then you need to contact your dentist or your local A+E dept.

It is common for saliva to be slightly blood stained as the wounds will ooze, but if its bleeding like a cut, pouring blood this needs to be checked out.

Avoid smoking as this can increase the chance of an infected socket which is more painfull than tooth ache,

Avoid alcohol and excerise as this can increase bloodflow and bleeding.

It's normal to bleed a lot, but if you fell concerned or it doesn't go away, call your dentist
