Can you use those whitening strips if you have a porcelin bridge?!

Question: I have a bridge and was wondering if I could still use those whitening strips on the rest of my teeth. I drink lots of coffee so my real teeth are not as pearly white as they should be.

My bf just got a bridge too and he said you can just as long as you don't use them on the porcelain parts. :}

Yes you can use them, just remember they will not change the color of the porcelain and you may get some unwanted color variation

You can still use the strips, but they won't affect the color of the porcelin bridge...so there is a possibility that by using them you will cause your natural teeth and porcelin teeth to be different shades.

I would suppose you can. I use a bleaching tray made specially by my dentist for me and I use a much more powerful bleaching agent, than the white strips offer. I have a bridge and a couple of crowns. My dentist doesn't seem to have a problem with it.
