Is Listerine any better than Crest Pro Health?!
Question:
Is Listerine any better than Crest Pro Health?
Listerine contains a lot of alcohol so it's very harsh and dries my mouth out badly, so I don't like using it. Crest Pro-Health is much better in both areas, but I'm just wondering if it's as effective as Listerine. They both say that they reduce and protect from plaque for 12 hours.
Answers:
Overall I can say that Crest Pro Health has been well recieved and Crest put out a study showing its efficacy and how it rates against Listerine and it did really well. Of course this is Crest's study so take it for what it is worth. As a hygienist I can say I generally feel pretty good about Crest's products and for this one in particular I like that it doesn't have alcohol. From their website:
