Im pretty sure i need braces but the dentist keeps putting it off for 3 years now it sux. any suggestions on what to say next appt ps.im 13 and they r gross

braces hurt like the first few days.. then you get used to them.. i've had them on since october of freshman year and this september im going to entering my junior year.. (i think i get them off like november of this year) Well my point is.. it will hurt.. Not to put them on.. but the pressure after they've been on for a day or 2.. I thought when i first got them on.. How am i going to eat like this!? It felt weird even putting a spoon in my mouth. Braces aren't gross, Its much less gross than having screwed up teeth. I am actually the one who pushed for me getting braces in my family because my parents didn't really think it was big deal that my teeth were messed up. It affected my speech and stuff so i am so thankful i got them and if i were you , get them on as soon as possible and depending on the severity of what needs to be fixed, you'll get them off within a few years or less. You'll be so happy you got them when you see the results hun
