Should i get braces?!
Question: I am 14 and i am going to be a freshman next year, 9th grade, and i have a partially bad over bite and spce between my teeth, i wouldnt call my teeth bad but not good either. Now i know if i get braces it might last 3 years, until my junior year! my question is should i get them or just go through life with non-horrible yet non-good teeth.

I am 16 turning 17 and am graduating high school this year. I've only had braces 3 months. The only reason I got them was cos of my overbite. Your top teeth grind against your bottom teeth and they wear away (very slowly) so if you think you have the same problem go get it seen to. Wouldn't you prefer a few years of braces to get a whole lifetime of good teeth. I have to go to my formal with braces but the outcome will end up great :)
you cant diagnose anything about this yourself ...you have to visit an Orthodontisst...i recommend you not to go to a general dentist at first and directly go and visit an Orthodontist ... maybe you will need to take some radiographic photos to know the reason of your problem ...and you are at the best age to have an Orthodontics therapy if u need ....so dont delay go and visit an Orthodontist ..if you get older it will be alittle bit more difficult and more time-consuming to solve some problems in your teeth ...
What does your dentist say? Did he/she say that you need braces? If you want straight teeth then get them. I had them for 2 1/2 years and I smile every chance I get.
you do need braces. if you don't then all the teeth will fall apart.
get them. alot of my friends had them, and still have them. at first they dont like it, but after the few years with them on, all of them say that they were worth it.
it might seem bad at first, but it will be good in the long run.
besides, nobodys perfect. so if you are worried that people will make fun of you, be sure to remind them of their flaws also.

Get them now. You'll be happy you did. Half you class will have braces. Just go to some web sites and look at before and after pictures and you'll be happy you got them sooner rather than later.
