Have you ever wondered about your breath?!

Question: I brush my teeth and my tongue and use mouth wash. I always wonder how my breath smells. I get sort of uncomfortable when someone is really close to my face thinking it might smell bad. I have no reason to believe it does smell bad, though. When I try to breathe into my hands to smell, I can never smell anything. Your thoughts?

I am the same way. I do everything I can, but you just never know. So many times I have smelled other people and I think oh my gosh, I hope my breath doesn't smell like that. My boyfriend says he loves my breath and he will actually just sit there and smell my mouth when we are really close. I sometimes wonder if it's just because he loves me. Who do you ask and get an honest answer??

im sure if it smells bad there will be someone brazen enough to let you know

Your mouth is as clean as a whistle.

Have you ever breathed about your wonder?

Lick the back of your hand. Wait a minute for it to dry, now smell. This is much better than the breathe in your hand thing, because you'll be able to smell the actual bacteria if they're there.

Otherwise, keep your teeth clean and you should be fine.

i think that is normal..no one wants to have people pulling away from them and gagging when you are talking to them...and it is good to practice good hygeine and make sure you don't have bad breath..gum helps..i have a friend i love dearly but his breath is so foul i have to stand a few feet from him..i wish he would brush his tongue once in awhile

I read that if you floss, let it dry, and then smell it you will get an accurate whiff of your breath. Flossing's really important too, so if you're not doing that be sure to do that. Long as you floss and keep the tongue clean you should be ok.

This may be cause by bacteria in your mouth...
Visit your dentist and have your mouth check...
It also helps to gargle as often as possible because it because of our saliva that makes our breath smell bad...
