Have you ever been turned down at a dentist?

yu show up and they take your BP and tell you its is to high? it was 150/89, is that an excuse to thin the appt schedule??mine is usually 140/85 but stress makes it higher as a trip to the dentist is stressful?

it was for 2 upper molars right side

I work for an oral surgery office and we do at times have to reschedule our patients if their BP is too high. If your BP is high to start with and gets higher b/c of stress of going to the dentist, your BP will go EVEN higher during the procedure you are about to go through and may cause a stroke or heart attack. Your doctor is only looking out for you and your health. You may want to see your PMD (primary medical doctor) to get your BP regulated before going through any more dental treatment.
