Get a tooth out painlessly?

I have a dental appointment tomorrow and i am getting a tooth pulled. I decided to head over here for help on how to do this...

note: i also am talking about getting it out on my own, not what to do while it's being pulled.

As a dentist I recommend that you NOT try to pull this tooth on your own... not only is this extremely painful and if not done properly can cause infection leading to serious problems. Get the tooth extracted by your regular dentist, he/she will give you a Lidocaine injection that will block the nerves for that tooth and surrounding area from feeling any pain. Your dentist will give you time to numb up, will then use a tool called an elevator to help loosen the tooth from the bone and then he/she will use extraction forceps to extract the tooth. During the procedure you should feel no pain, you will feel some pressure and the pushing/pulling as the dentist rocks the tooth back and forth to loosen and detach from the bone. Good luck and follow ANY and ALL instructions your dentists gives you.
