People with ceramic braces??!
Question: I'm 15 and I'm just getting braces and I feel like an idiot. I'm getting ceramic braces so hopefully they won't be AS noticable, but I'm still afraid i'm gunna look like a nerd lol. AND i'm afraid that they will make my teeth look yellow..I hear they do that? how can I prevent it? anything to cheer me up would be nice ...thanks. =]

They won't make your teeth look yellow at all unless you get someone an inch from your mouth and tell them to look at the difference!
Just make sure you clean them like twice as long as usual to make sure you don't get stains!!
Be grateful- my orthodontist only started using them like a week ago, so up until then I had proper train tracks- BRACE FACEEE!!

I know how you are feeling just like I am, because I'm thinking of getting a ceramic one or a lingual braces that goes behind your teeth, which won't show you have braces...
In your case get a Lingual braces...
Hey you won't look like a nerd, I'm 29yrs old and I have ceramic braces. You can still tell that you have braces but they are not as noticeable as the metal braces. Personally my opinion I would've saved the extra money and just got the metal braces if I could do it all over. I've got ceramic on the top and metal on the bottom and it isn't a big difference and the metal ones are much stronger.
