My six year old was smacked in the face with a baseball bat by her brother as he!

Question:

My six year old was smacked in the face with a baseball bat by her brother as he was trying to kill bugs.?

Unfortunately her teeth got in the way. There was some bruising on her gums which went away about two hours later. Her front tooth is now much more wiggly than it was and the tooth next to it is now loose. They are baby teeth. The already wiggly tooth has shifted sideways tight to her other front tooth. Is it necessary to take her to the dr or dentist? What would you do. I hate to over react. I suppose there could be damage to the permanant tooth, but would they do anything anyway? She isn't complaining about anything.

Her and her brother both lost teeth in their fifth year, which is normal. They teethed very young. Her two front teeth that are about to fall out, she has had since she was 3 months old. It is normal to lose teeth this young.

Answers:

i can understand being worried..i'd definitely take her to the dentist..just to get some xrays and to make sure everything is everything..since they're baby teeth, it might not be THAT serious..but to just be sure, i'd take her to her dentist and let them check it out..good luck..
