Dental Q's?!

Question: I have 2 questions.

1) I had a wisdom tooth pulled last week. I went back 2 days later and my dentist put a piece of gauze and paste in the socket (I lost my clot). I've been trying my best to brush the molar in front of it without pulling out the pack. The nurse at the dentist today told me to just leave it alone, but not to freak out if it does come out. What does that mean?? Basically to me that was saying "Well, it doesn't matter if it's in there or not".

2) The other question I have is kind of stupid.
I have very crowded teeth (for now) and it takes me longer than most people to brush them because of that. Right now I only have the toothbrush from the dentist (I had to throw the other out due to being sick). I thought about buying an electric one, but I feel with my crowded teeth, that might be a waste.

Any suggestions?

Please only serious answers. I won't hesitate to report those answering just to be jerks.

(1) You developed what is called a "Dry Socket" from the loss of the clot. that loss left the exposed inner tissue of the socket exposed to air and that as you no doubt learned was painful...I'm guessing the dentist placed a time dissolving pack in the socket to seal it off while it begins to heal....You should have been told the first day to stay away from warm or hot liquids and if you smoke, not to for at least three day's to a week nor should you suck on a straw or pop bottle...the suction created by those activities tends to pull the clot out of the socket....Also, be advised that the total healing period for the extraction site is between five and six months....nothing will change that fact and during that time the extraction site will undergo physical changes (narrow and shrink)...As for brushing, simply avoid that area for the next week and then be "very" gentle over the following two weeks.
(2) Eevery tooth brush should be trashed following any illness that relates to a virus...and after brushing place the tooth brush in an antiseptic solution for at least thirty minutes. All tooth brushes should be replace about every six months regardless of your health. As for crowded teeth, tell you what, regardless of what cleaning method you use, do this to insure you get them clean...Brush your teeth throughly and then rinse, now place three drops of RED food coloring in a tea spoon and rinse really good with it...spit and rinse again..now look in your mouth and see where the RED areas are...those will be the areas that are still needing cleaned.

why dont u get your wisdom teeth pulled? its not like u need them for anything.
