Why is it that sometimes I hear a crackling sound when I chew ?!

Question:

Why is it that sometimes I hear a crackling sound when I chew ?

Sometimes when I'm chewing/ eating I hear a crackling sound by my jaw near my right ear. It's really annoying sometimes. Is this a problem that I should look into further or is this a common thing that many people experience?

Answers:

according to what my teacher said, 80% of people have that problem,

clicking sound in your ear caused by the problem in your JOINT between lower jaw and your maxilla (face bone), but many people have this problem, it may cause by imbalance in the position of your jaw, but it's not a big problem

to make sure about your problem or if you feel interupted by the sound just consult a dentist
