How can you tell if you have a cavity? Is it possible to have 2 opposite of each other in the same spot ?
i want to know if its possible to have 2 cavities at the same time on the same teeth on each side of you mouth at the exact same spot. Or is it just a random whole thats just there because of the way your teeth are.

The only way that you can know for sure whether or not you have a cavity is to have a dentist do an exam using a dental instrument and to view other areas that you can get cavities, x-rays will need to be done.
What you have described is possible and maybe even more so if your teeth were formed in such a way that made it more of a target area for bacteria to build up.
