Yes...your teeth and gums become very sore for about 1-2 weeks...then you get used to them.
no not when you get them. after like three hours they are HELL!! they totally suck for two weeks.
not the actual putting them on, but a couple hours later were your teeth are moving and u cant have nothing hard like apple, I couldnt even eat bread!! Use the gum gel they give you to remove pain or a asprin.

Unfortunately yes. They make your teeth very sore and it's hard to chew for the forst week or so. They also get sore after they are tightened. It's not that bad, I went through 4 years of it. I was happy with my end results!
They sure do for awhile--and especially when they change the wires --you do get use to it as yoru teeth move---IT'LL BE WORTH IT!!!!! have fun with the colored bands!!!!
Totally, when i first got them i didnt go to school for 2 days bc it hurt so much. You cant sleep and eat bc its painnn!
your teeth don't hurt at all when you get them on but when its all over and you close your mouth it feels funny on the inside of your lips. but it goes away after a few days and you forget you even have them!!!!
Of course they hurt! Makes your teeth feel weak too. Be careful of hard foods trust me eating anything hard will increase the pain!
