Ah! My lip just got really swollen on the inside, on one side, what happened?!

Ah! My lip just got really swollen on the inside, on one side, what happened?

I wasn't doing anything, and then all of the sudden I could just feel it getting really swollen. I hadn't drunk or eaten anything, or put on lipstick. It's not like a canker (sp?) swore, it's just swollen! What happened?!
