Wisdom teeth being cut out while i have braces?
can i get my wisdom teeth taken out by an oral surgeon while i have braces on .. and by this i mean the wire is on ( they took the wire off to be able to pull out my pre molars before) does the wire have any effect on wheather or not they'll be able to get them out?
Answers:
Yes, you shouldn't have a problem with the wire being an issue. Just make sure you follow the post operative (after surgery) instructions to make sure you don't end up with dry socket (when you lose the blood clot from the extraction site) as it is quite painful.
