Omg stupid braces...?!
Question: ok so i got my braces today and they put this orange cement stuff on my back bottom teeth to keep my front teeth from hitting the frontbottom braces and everytime i close my mouth my tooth hits it and it hurts so bad. Also its so gross it look like i have food in my mouth. Why did they have to put this stuff in?
and which is better to releve pain exederen or ideprophen?

ya braces suck take tylonal, and what helped me was to bring floss to school in my backpack and gum and run in the bathroom after lunch if all else fail smoke weed that way u forget.
neither they both don't work use tylenol or advil and go back to the orthodontist in a week if it still really hurts

I have the same problem when that happens with my braces. Just brush for about five minutes and i use IBprophuen
No doubt you paid a lot of money for your braces & you are going to have to wear them for a long time - you are entitled to have them fit well. If you are experiencing pain, you ought to call your dentist/orthodontist & have them make an adjustment.
As for the pain reliever, different things affect people differently, so it's up to you. Personally, I prefer vicodin :)

i have braces too....but i didnt get the orange stuff.....but i think um advil or motrin works best........or try orajel
its just for protection so that your tooth enamel wont ware down, dont worry, theyll take it out in a little while. also, ideprophen works best for pain. hope this helped!!!!!! :)
Braces make your mouth hurt.. pure and simple. They put a lot of pressure on your teeth to make them move.. but that is more of an ache. The PAIN that you are feeling is just your teeth yelling that they hate this thing that's on them! It may take a few days, but the pain will go away and you'll be left with just a nice little ache that won't go away for a month. That's just the way it is..Beauty doesn't come easy!!!?...?
p.s. I think the orange guck will go away..it's just to protect your teeth at first. good luck!
Try Maximum-Strength Anbesol. It works better than pills. And most of all----- go back to the guy that put them in!!!
