Im going to the orthodontist and.... ?

Im going to the ortho on Tuesday... and he normaly really hurts me... i asked him last time to be gentle.. and it didnt hurt that much.

But i think i mayb be getting my braces tightened this time... as ive had them on for about 7 months now and havent had them tightened.

People say this hurts the first time you get them tightened and he hurts at the best of times!!

Any advice on how i could stop it hurting? Ive got some gel to ease pain, But what about tablets? Will they help ? And how long before i go should i take them?

(im not that bothered about the pain afterwards when i come out , i just dont want it to hurt while hes doing it! i feel like im going to hit him! )

don't worry about it so much...you'll be fine! maybe you could try taking some paracetamol about 20mins before you go in so that they have chance to work.

it doesn't hurt while they are been tightened just your teeth ache afterwards.
