they don't "pull" it out when you have a root canal. They numb you REAL good, and if you havea good dentist like I had all I had to do was raise my hand if i felt anything and he would numb me up some more. I didn't feel pain at all, just some pressure. It hurt afterward, like my jaw hurt, but they gave me some vicodin and i was fine. I didnt even take the vic, i was fine with 2 advil. Good luck!
you will be numb... if you feel anything stop them and tell them to give you more..... if you are having a root canal they wont be pulling it out, just drilling alot.... they take the stuff (sorry i dont know the official terms) in the root of the tooth and fill it and then build up the tooth so that they can put a crown on or whatever....

I PRAY YOUR DENTEIST IS GOOD ACTUALLY I THINK YOU SHOULD SEE A ENDODONTIST BECAUSE MY DENTIST FUCKED ME OVER AND HE DID THE ROOT CANAL WHICH FUCKED ME OVER BECUASE HE DIDNT EVEN DO THE DAMN JOB RITE HE JUST WNATED MY FUCKIN MONEY I HOPE HE DIES!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO BECAREFUL IF YOU CAN I WOULD SEE A ENDODONTIST THEY SPECIFICALLY SPECIALIZE IN DOING ROOT CANALS!!!!!!!!! GOODLUCK AND YOU WILL NOT FEEL PAIN AT ALL WHILE THEY ARE DOING IT BUT A HOUR AFTER THEY ARE DONE YOU WILL AND THEN IT GOES AWAY LIKE IN a COUPLE DAYS THE PAIN ISNT TO BAD BUT YOU CAN TAKE TYLENOL OK
