Getting your braces tightened will not hurt at first, but after a little while it probably will. Especially when you try to eat! But take a little painkiller med and that'll help a lot. Try to have soft/liquid food around to eat after your braces are tightened, like milkshakes, soup, apple sauce, etc. so it will be more comfortable for you to eat. Also, if you recently got your braces it will hurt more than it will after a long period of time(a few months or more). Sometimes adjustments will hurt more than others, but remember your smile will be beautiful!!
