Is art a necessary skill to become a dentist or a doctor?!

Question: can you not be artistic at all and still succeed in medicine

Answers: can you not be artistic at all and still succeed in medicine

It's really helpful in dentistry, but not essential. You can learn the handskills necessary, but it's easier if you've had practice. I usually tell High School students to take art classes. You don't have to be "good" (whatever that is...art majors can be weird), but it get you some good practice.
