Staining of the teeth is a HUGE problem with the Crest Pro-Health Rinse, but it's not the ONLY problem. Other possible side affects include excessive tissue sloughing/shedding, sores on the tongue/mouth, and significant loss of taste. The main ingredient in the Crest rinse (a chemical compound called CPC) is also used to make PESTICIDES. It doesn't take a chemist to know that you can get some funky side affects from washing your mouth out with a pesticide. After all of the problems that have been reported with this product, it's unbelievable to me that the FDA allows them to market it (and there isn't even a warning on the bottle regarding all of the nasty side affects!). If you need to use a mouthwash, use something all natural (like Tom's of Maine) or at least something tested and approved of by the ADA (like Listerine).

ive never heard of it.

Before I got braces, the Crest pro health rinse didn't stain my teeth. It actually worked well. After I got my braces and tried using it, my ceramic braces were stained from it. It was so hard to clean out, especially if you just got the braces on and tried brushing hard. It's torture! I recommend Act mouthwash. Their pink, green, or blue liquids never stain your teeth or braces!
