Why does whitenting tooth paste not witen.?
When I use tooth paste such as "crest" that says whiteining on it it doesnt wighten.Same old teeth, Same old results.

As a dentist, I can tell you that all of the whitening toothpastes are just a marketing ploy. Toothpastes are not a regulated item by our govt. so they can pretty much say what they want on the pkg. The only way one can whiten their teeth is by the products available at a dental office [best way] or by the Crest Whitestrips [only whiten the front 6 teeth....this is also available at dental offices as a stronger product]. Toothpastes just don't stay on the teeth long enough to do the job of changing your tooth shade.....heck, they can barely remove surface stains....which is good as otherwise they'd be wearing down your enamel!
