Frequent biting of the cheek/mouth area...?!

Frequent biting of the cheek/mouth area...?

i have a tendacy to bite at the insides of my mouth (cheek area) at "skin" that i just bite at .. is this called anything and why do i do it... its a very weird thing i have done forever now and i notice alot of people have that habit.. i just cant stop biting at the inside of my mouth.. any information??

i also used to! teeth are jamming in my mouth that makes my mouth very steep, in return, i bie the sides. now i have braces to properly align my teeth and the biting is less and its turning normal again. ;) DENTIST!
