Should last a long time, unless as in my case it kept coming loose and falling out! After spending all that money, I opted for an amalgum filling, instead, and that was maybe 10 yaers ago!

I've had 2 gold crowns for 15 years. the gold wears off easily comparing to ceramic. When they removed them there was a tiny hole on one of the crowns...
