Braces causing mouth ulcers!!?!
Question: Hi. I just developed a mouth ulcer in my mouth! Its coming from the wire that seems a little loose since the teeth have shifted a bit (1 week)
this wire is not on the tooth but near an extraction hole. So its like across empty space .==> (--)--(--)
( ) <--tooth
--- <--wire
It's poking and rubbing the side of my cheek everytime I talk/eat/do anything and its really hurting!! What can I do? The dental wax won't stick to the piece of thin metal =[

U put a big piece of cotton at the end of the wire. Visit ur dentist and cut the extra piece of wire projecting out. Apply dentogel on the ulcer area.
use oral aid , take come calcium supplements,
Go back to your dentist! This needs to be sorted out by a professional.
I used to get this all the time when I had a brace on. The wire sounds like it needs a bit of readjustment by the orthodontist.
The cotton wool is a good idea in the meantime. Unfortunately, the ulcer will get worse as it repeatedly gets prodded and is likely to run for a longer course that it otherwise would without something aggravating it all the time.
The dentist is really the only person that can fix the issue.
Go back to your dentist. this is way you are paying thousands of dollars!
