Tingling sensation in mouth? What is this?!
Question: ok, so it's really weird and it just started today. like sometimes when i open my mouth wide, i can feel like a whole bunch of tingles are coming out and it feels like a tingling sensation. idk what it is or what is causing it..but i just got my braces tightened monday and they still hurt soo bad and then i got new rubber bands, too, and they are in the back of my teeth, where i feel the sensation. i also think i might have a cavity in one of my back teeth, too, and i'm going to get that fixed soon. could these things be causing it?

It is from the braces. Trust me, I've had them before, and I had to get them tightened. It wasn't a good feeling. Whenever I opened my mouth, I got a tingly feeling! It's supposed to feel like that for 1 week or less. If it takes a longer time, go see your dentist and find out what's going on.
Yup they are fom the braces, chances are it's the pain that is causing the tingling sensation. YOu did say you got them tightened so that must be it. Ask your folks to take you back to the orthodontist if the pain it too much to bear, good luck.
if its not the braces, but it sounds like it is, it might be a canker sore. i get tingling sensations in my mouth when im about to get them. but hopefully u dont cause they hurt really bad! good luck!<3
