Will i ever have to get power chains?!
Question: I've recently got braces on the 25th of Jan. because i'm trying to fix my overbite and close my gap in my lower front (which isn't supposed to be there) and upper front (born with that one)... power chains look fun having my braces put on was fun also but those damn spacers hurted like sh*t.... i jus wanted to know if i would ever have to get them (power chains)???

Most likely. But not till later. Every doctors technique may be different, but usually those come after they get most things straightened out then start pulling them tighter an closer together. I am getting my overbite corrected also and I think it took about 8-9 months before I received a power chain. And it comes and goes. Had one on my lower, now its gone, will probably be back on within the next visit or two. They do make your teeth hurt, they are nothing to look forward to.
I had chains on my braces (I'm not sure if they were power chains, this was 15+ years ago). They hurt but just like any other adjustment they did. If you have gaps you will probably get them.
