I am in the process of opening a dental clinic... WHAT ACCOUNTING SYSTEM TO USE?!
Question: Hi there, and thank you for taking the time on answering this question.
My wife is opening a dental clinic, but she has no idea of which dental system to buy. I am referring to a system that can keep a detailed control of appointments, archives of clients, accounting, and the likes... Something that will go the whole nine yards and for her not to worry about anything but what she was actually trained to do... Can anyone HELP us find the proper software which can meet her necessities?

Dentrix is nice but it costs a fortune. OpenDental is a great practice management system that is very inexpensive. Customer support is phenomenal.
You need to head on over to DentalTown for help from a TON of practicing dentists. There is more info over there than you could ever get on here. You can ask any question you want and get a dozen responses from dentists who have already been there and done that. www.dentaltown.com
I work at a dental office and we use Dentrix. I know it is great for appts but I'm not too sure about the other.
dentrix is the best out there but is the most expensive. at my new office we use kodak's brand and it is working out great. even has templates for sending letters to patients
