I have one front tooth behind the others... How can I fix it without wearing bra!

Question:

I have one front tooth behind the others... How can I fix it without wearing braces?

My second upper tooth is growing behind the first and the third tooth. The first and the third tooth have gotten closer to each other over the years, so I don't see how I could "push" the second tooth between them, as some people have suggested (popsickle method).

The reason I never wore braces is because my old dentist told me they'd have to take a lot of my other teeth out to fix this one (because I have a small jaw), and that they couldn't guarantee that it would all look okay in the end.

Does anyone know of any other method to fix this tooth?

Answers:

You may be a candidate for cosmetic restorations. You might be able to crown your first 4 possibly 6 front teeth. When they crown that many they can divide the size and spacing among all the teeth to make them come out proportional. This is not a cheap option, but it is another option.
