It kind of depends on whether or not they're bad. I just had one removed, and am getting the other out in April. Mine were both impacted, but I didn't think it was too bad.

I don't like needles, so that part sucked for me. But once you're numbed up, they tell you you'll only feel a little pressure. Personally, I didn't even feel that, but some do. Afterwards they will stitch it, and give you specific instructions on how to care for it over the next 24hrs. Try to follow them carefully.

Good luck hun...you'll be okay. =)

i had all 4 wisdom teeth surgically removed! OUCH!!! they hadn't come out yet, but the dentist noticed they were coming in impacted Bigger Ouch!!! so he recommended an oral surgeon remove them!!! i looked like muhamad ali had gone gone 8 rounds on me! i was swollen for about 2 weeks and tons of blood and other nasty stuff was in my mouth! but... mine was surgery hopefully yours won't be as bad!!!

mine grew in. One became decayed and was removed by a surgeon. I didn't feel a thing, honest. One gave me trouble, so I pulled it out myself. They aren't really a big deal.

I had all four of mine removed - the bottom two, then the top two a few weeks later. I didn't feel a thing. Afterwards, some Advil and ice packs were all I needed. Good luck!

I only had one to begin with so they had to remove it since i had no opposing too for chewing. The process itself you are in la la land. I swear when it was done, it felt like it had been only 5 minutes. I did cry though but that was because of the anesthesia, happens to me every time. Just be sure to follow the doctors instructions completely after the surgery. Also make sure you have enough in your tummy after you take the meds. i learned that the hard way. Kinda hard throwing up with gauze in your mouth cause you didn't have enough time to grab it. Relax, you'll be fine. The days after are rougher than the actual removal.

It depends on the patient and how you take care of the extraction sites. Do not smoke or, rinse or drink out of a straw for the 1st 24 hours and after 24 hours, rinse with warm salt water. You want the blood to clot well. Also, if you have a problem with the bleeding, bite down on a tea bag. It will help the blood to clot faster.
