What happens during a root canal?!

Question:

What happens during a root canal?

Answers:

First the doctor gives you anesthesia and then u feel all numb and then he makes a hole in the tooth and reaches the nerves where he removes the nerves and replaces them with another small rod like thing in the height of the tooth....this is so that you don't get an infection again..now onwards you won't feel the tooth cause the nerves aren't in contact...then a filling is done to fill the hole made in the beginning...thats all just about it....but you have to be careful after the root canal....now that you cant feel ur tooth then u wont know how hard you bite with it...its more or less like a dead tooth soo,it has chances of breaking for which after some months the dentist puts a crown which is like a protective cover....dont worry....you wont feel a thing....Hope it goes well
