Fluoride or Nonfluoride?!

Question:

Fluoride or Nonfluoride?

I have read many things against fluoride and pro-fluoide. Is fluoride actually good, or detrimental to your health? I currently use a natural toothpaste that contains fluoride. Do I switch to the nonfluoridated one? Is it true that fluoride is in tap water?

Answers:

There are LOTS of morons out there. Morons are the ones who oppose fluoride.
Fluoride is a NATURALLY occuring element. In the early 1900s a man discovered that people living in Colorado springs had mottled teeth appearance (fluorosis) but they all had NO DECAY!
So every town is allowed to vote whether they want fluoride in the water or not. And some places fluoride occurs naturally so the fluoride levels are reduced to a safe level.
Fluorosis (too much fluoride) occurs when a child EATS too much fluoride. That is why kids are given nonfluoride toothpaste when they are learning not to swallow paste.
You can never have too much TOPICAL fluoride. That means you can put as much fluoride on your teeth as you want (as long as you dont swallow a ton of it). So use a fluoride toothpaste all the time.
Also eating too much fluoride as an adult will only give you a sour, upset stomach. it cant hurt your teeth when all your permanent teeth have already come in.
So in summary the danger of fluoride is only in childhood if they EAT too much. All that happens is that their teeth have a strange appearance.
But kids and adults can use as much topical fluoride as they want.
And adults can't be hurt by injecting too much fluoride because all their permanent teeth have already come in. (will get upset stomach though)
