i have to go to the denist in a day or two becuz one of my filling broke do you no ways that I can help the pain well... not be there i no i can take med or lafing gas but does that take all or most of the pain away

Go ASAP. I had a 28 yr old filling break 7 weeks ago and it cause my entire tooth to crack 2 weeks ago. Last week my dentist tried to do a root canal and a crown; he could do neither. Tomorrow I am seeing a specialist for TMJ because, apparently I have this. Basically, my jaw to skull joint is out of whack. I need to see this specialist to then see a specialist that does root canals and crowns to people with TMJ. For the pain- I took 6-8 Advil a day since it was bad (don't do it- it can be bad on the liver). Then a friend recommended Ambesol. I was Ambesol-ing the area all the time until I could see my doc (4 days I had to wait!). My doc gave me Hydrocodone and Penicillin (I had a small infection as well). So, I feel your pain. Take Advil and Ambesol and see your dentist ASAP. Hope you feel better!
