I'm getting my braces off ....?
on monday. and im afraid my teeth are going to be yellow and have discoloration. =[
does this usually happen and if it does, does it go away??

I have gotten braces removed before, and no discoloration effects happen whatsoever. As long as you've almost or close to regularly brushed your teeth, with or without braces, you should be fine. I was scared of that too since the brace covers up about a third of the tooth. I have had braces put on and removed 2 times, and no discoloration was concerned. You will find your upper and lower lips seem to big for your mouth since they have been very gently pushed out by the thickness of the braces. Your mouth gets back to normal in about a week.
