Pa Access card for dentists?!

Question:

Pa Access card for dentists?

took a lower paying job, qualified for pa access card.( a little embarrassed..have never needed state help..workers with disability) the only problem..In desperate need of a dentist..my children need dental care. No one in central Pa seems to take these cards. My previous dentist doesn't take the card, and I had abscessed tooth that I had to have out..he says I need periodontist. Does anyone know in Pa who will take this insurance??? I come to you because the people who read Answers give the best advice!! thanks

Answers:

Dentist don't normally post this type of information on the web, as I have done a search with no luck. Hopefully someone locally will read your question that has a better answer.

Alternately, you can check with some of the "teaching" dental schools and universities in your state as they offer _low cost_ assistance with dental procedures as means of the students learning the profession under the supervision of a professional. I know you are needing assistance "right now", but with these schools you can usually set up an appointment within 30-45 days, and some offer a payment schedule.

You can also post a free "info" or "wanted" ad for possibly a better response to your question at:

Hopefully some of these suggestion are helpful.
