I have severe tooth pain..?!
Question: could anyone help please. i have serve tooth pain i have been to a emergency dentist they have put me on antibiotics but the pain is still as bad as ever i have tried all sorts of tablets and have took iburoufen with paracetamol and codiene but nothin works i have started swirlin cold water on my tooth as this takes the pain away for a couple of seconds but then it come back again. this is very very painful and i cant wait a week until i go bk to dentist again as the pain is killlin me. do anyone no any gel that will numb my gums and tooth ive tried bonjela it doesnt seem to work.

Hot water and salt slooshed around the mouth frequently, this helped me with headbanging toothache, hope it helps you.
have u tried taking two nurofen + tablets they are prob the strongest over the counter meds u can get, u could try whiskey on cotton wool next to the tooth, i have an impacted wisdom tooth that gives me hell from time to time so i sympathize with u there's nothing worse than dental pain.
Contact your hospital. I did that once when I had a tooth done by my dentist and they didn't completely remove the root before filling it. They will only repair it temporarily, but is better than nothing. It classes as accident and emergency.
Ring round the dentists in your area, say it is severe and maybe you can use another dentist private instead of your own for this instance. I go private, not much choice really, and if it costs you
